We are the only human services agency in Erie County that is on-call 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year to provide assistance to victims of a disaster. Our teams of trained, dedicated volunteers are willing to respond to the scene of a disaster regardless of the time, day or night, throughout Erie County.

As the designated mass care provider for the entire county, we maintain agreements with public and private organizations throughout the county to use their facilities as safe havens for the families and individuals affected by disaster.

The Greater Erie County Chapter (GECC) has a cadre of trained volunteers whose specialties include preparedness education. These volunteers are available to facilitate presentations to your agency or organization located within the county.
